Siri M. Kalvig defended her PhD at University of Stavanger.

Siri M. Kalvig defended her PhD: «On wave-wind interactions and implications for offshore wind turbines» at University of Stavanger, Monday November 17.

A trial lecture and the defence was held open to the public. Different people from the press were present in a mixed audience. Dagens Næringsliv, DN, has made an interview from the day after the disputation.

Link to the official announcement and more information can be found here. You can also read more about Siri's PhD on UoS's webstie.

The topic for the trial lecture was:

“Current best practices in the assessment of Wind resources and Turbine behaviors in Offshore: Uncertainties, challenges, and future improvements”

Stavanger Aftenblad has made an interview with Kalvig, where she tells about her work and her motivation for doing her PhD:

-Siri M. Kalvig.
